Fur Babies Apparels Summer Collection Photoshoot

Fur Babies Apparels is a crazy idea of mine that I would like to take venture with a good friend and my dear dogs. Our first collection was long over due to it's release but better late than never. The fun stuff started in our photo shoot session with my gorgeous dogs Bubbles and Cooper. I expected it to be super hard specially for Cooper since he is so hyper. But I guess they proved me wrong. I made a mini set for them with banderitas in the background to give it some summer vibe. Both of them surprised me seeing how they posed on their own. I can say that I'm a super proud mummy of two beautiful dachshunds at that moment. Now we are excited to share to everyone the photos that we took for our Summer Collection.

It was a busy and tiring day a I remember in my head but the result was really worth it. I am no professional photographer but this batch is a good try for an inexperienced me. ^_^

Dachshund's Characteristic

Learn more about Dachshunds by reading a post from the dog channel regarding Dachshund's characteristics. The more you know about your beloved pet the better you'll be able to understand them.

The Dachshund is, quite simply, the “right dog” for many people. Small in size, even the largest Standard Dachshund weighs only about 30 pounds. Easy to maintain in good physical condition, the Dachshund doesn’t require long runs over many acres. Possessing a friendly, companionable personality, the Dachshund charms his way into the hearts of all who get to know him.
The fact that Dachshunds love people, especially children and the elderly, endears them to the general population. Indeed, Dachshunds are among the most popular breeds of dog in the USA, Germany and Britain. Although the original purpose of hunting is no longer the main reason to breed Dachshunds, they possess so many other desirable qualities that they will retain their popular status for many years to come. However, for the few Dachshund owners who are interested in preserving that hunting trait, there are Dachshund field trials. In America, trials were instituted in 1935. These competitions judge the dogs’ ability and style in finding and retrieving game such as rabbits. The dogs must possess good noses (to smell the prey), courage to pursue the prey, keenness for the hunt, perseverance and willingness to get the job done.
All Dachshunds, regardless of variety or size, compete together in field trials. At a trial, a Dachshund is a Dachshund. There are, however, various stakes or classes for dogs of different ages and experience. Once a dog earns a field trial champion title, he enters the Dachshund history book of distinction and his progeny are much sought after. The rules for field trials, obedience and agility competitions, and breed conformation classes, are spelled out in detail by both breed clubs and kennel clubs. In order to produce dogs that will achieve success in competition, whether conformation or performance events, breeders must understand the criteria set forth in their breed’s standard as well as the abilities that the dogs must possess.
Dachshunds are odorless and exceptionally clean dogs. The Miniature is mature by 12 months of age, while the Standard may not be fully mature until he reaches 18 months of age. Dachshunds are exceptionally long-lived dogs, with many living until 12 to 14 years of age. Regardless of size or variety, the Dachshund is easily maintained and managed, thus making it a most desirable companion.
Though he can be rather stubborn at times, his behavior easily can be modified by a wise owner who quickly changes the subject and gets the dog to focus on some new activity. In other words, the owner refuses to recognize the dog’s obstinacy and thereby prevents a repetition of the undesirable behavior. Physical rough handling only makes an even-tempered Dachshund become aggressive. "

It's always great to know the basics but at the end of the day spending quality time with your sweet pups is the best way to learn more about their characters. Also good and bad behavior comes with the way you raised them all through out the years. So give them love and teach them good things. They will be at their very best for you and your family.

Cooper the Sweet Doxie

Cooper is my little boy and he is filled with too much love. He is a burst of sunshine when ever I saw his cute and loving face. It was a good life with Bubbles but it got even better when Cooper came along.

He came along with a lot of energy and a very big belly. ^_^ I can still remember the day me and Bubbles fetch him it was a very funny day. Some puppies feels scared or quiet for the first time of meeting but this little boy is different. Cooper jumped around the car and finally stopped when I let him stay in the steering wheel.

It was not an easy thing for Bubbles to accept Cooper in the family. She was the baby in our home for 2 years and suddenly I brought in Cooper to keep her company when I'm at work. Bubbles was very hesitant about Cooper at first well until now she loves to bully him. They have a very sweet and funny relationship through out the years.

Bubbles never shows it always but we know that she loves Cooper so much too. Regardless off his extreme energy and funny accidents. Cooper grew up with the biggest heart and he looks at us with so much love.

He is my love and everyday with him is filled with love and laughter. I will always feel blessed  having Cooper and Bubbles in my life.

Bubbles at the Doggie Day Care

Bubbles is a very lovely doxie and she loves to go out. I remember when she was still a puppy, her mom (my sister) loves to take her in the mall for a stroll. But since she migrated to Australia, Bubbles was left to my care. I love this little girl since she is the princess of our family.

Now that I have more free time, taking this little girl out for grooming is fun. I saw this website that offers dog's day care that is located in the mall. So I went their with my little princess so she can check in to the doggie day care. Check out the picture taken that day... Fun bonding day ^_^

She looks so cute right!? ^_^

New Goodies for the Two Dachshund

The best things in life are free! That's what I've always feel whenever a package from my sister comes from the land down under (Australia). I love it whenever people send gifts for my two furry babes, guess this is the feeling of any fur parents out there. Today, the box is filled with Goodies for Bubbles and Cooper. You can tell they are excited for their new toys, treats, cages and clothes.

Bubbles and Cooper now has a new set of dog treats to look forward everyday. And Bubbles super loves her new soft blue house that she always stays in all day. This are two happy Dachshund babies. ^_^

Lazy Rainy Day

This is the month where storms here in my country just come and go. Last week, the Philippines suffered a heavy fall of rain that causes the busy streets of the metro flooded. We didn't actually have a storm then but rather just a "Habagat" according to PAGASA.

We were one of the lucky and thankful family who didn't experienced flood in our home. I wish all the Filipino people are also safe and sound. My prayers and wishes foes for the flood victims. So for almost a week, my mom stayed home. Also the two lovely dachshund in our family seems to love they cold weather and just sleep all day.

Here's some of the photos that shows how lazy they get during rainy days...
