Fur Babies Apparels Summer Collection Photoshoot

Fur Babies Apparels is a crazy idea of mine that I would like to take venture with a good friend and my dear dogs. Our first collection was long over due to it's release but better late than never. The fun stuff started in our photo shoot session with my gorgeous dogs Bubbles and Cooper. I expected it to be super hard specially for Cooper since he is so hyper. But I guess they proved me wrong. I made a mini set for them with banderitas in the background to give it some summer vibe. Both of them surprised me seeing how they posed on their own. I can say that I'm a super proud mummy of two beautiful dachshunds at that moment. Now we are excited to share to everyone the photos that we took for our Summer Collection.

It was a busy and tiring day a I remember in my head but the result was really worth it. I am no professional photographer but this batch is a good try for an inexperienced me. ^_^

Chaotic Swimming Lesson with the Fur Babies

We all had that moment when we were younger and still close to our parents. You go out of town with them and your father teaches you how to swim. I can never figure out then why my Dad always lets me go in a pool as he tries to teach me how to swim (which I never really learned totally). But now that I have my fur babies and has no plans of having any kid in the future, made me think it's time for them to take their swimming lesson too. ^_^

Ofcourse, I've plan this since last summer but was to thrifty to get an actual mini pool. I was looking for something with good quality but on a bargain price and never found one that fits the bill. I was on a strict budget then and to think that I have an actual job a year ago. Now that I am bum, this is the time that I chose to spend some more for my fur babies. Got a pool twice the size that I've planned and not on SALE. Not the typical cheap version of me but well gotta spoiled them sometimes.

But ofcourse, I realized that my fur babies would have prefer treats over the mini-pool I got them. As you can see in this photo, they don't look happy about it. lol

Look at how Cooper is so problematic on the side of this photo. He super hates the water and doesn't know how to swim. I'm sure of that because one time at my Dads Farm, Bubbles jumps in to the water system as Cooper followed her. I made my cousin jump to get them because Cooper was struggling to swim.

So the day after I bought the pool, we gave it a test run due to the 1 week warranty for an exchange if it has a leak. I throw in Bubbles first and she was really surprise but got to swim on her own. I did plan to take videos and photos but when I included Cooper in the pool that's where things got crazy. ^_^ He was so afraid that they both ended up dragging me to the pool. I can't get up since they are both hanging on to me like monkeys. So goodbye to my plan of taking photos and videos. Slowly Cooper stop going crazy over the water and I finally get to give him few lessons. I hold him as he paddle, the same way that was did to me when I was young. He was paddling as if he'll drown and it was too funny.

It was a chaotic first day of swimming lessons for my fur babies but I'm looking forward for our next try. Got to take 4 photos before I took of the water from the pool and I'm really proud of my babies. Good first try, specially for the scared Cooper. Bubbles was swimming like a professional so the focus of the lesson is more for Cooper. ^_^

They look super cute right!? Well till our next swimming lesson and hopefully we'll have videos.

The "Fur Baby" Dream

Ever since I was young, I'm already inlove with animals. From Dogs, Cats, Mice, Lizards, Fishes, Birds and even owned a Lobster. If I could turn back the hands of time for sure I'll take up Veterinary as a career. But since I can't, might as well do something that is still related to animals. My two fur babies has been my inspiration with this new passion project of mine. Bubbles and Cooper loves to dress up and I'm not exaggerating on this. They really get excited whenever I get their outfits from their mini dresser. I think this is because they associated it with going out or the attention that they get wearing those dresses.

Since buying pet apparels is really costly and there are very limited designs too choose from, the crafty side of me had a bright idea. "Why not make my own pet apparels!" First I researched about it and watch some tutorials in YouTube. When I finished one top for Cooper it was really poorly made. That's why I decided to learn how to make the patterns for pet clothes. It actually gave me an idea to try out a dog apparel line since it is not that costly to produce one. So I met up with a good friend of mine who knows how to use the sewing machine and that's where Fur Babies Apparels was born.

From planning, everything was coming true bit by bit. We got the fabrics then I started making the fabric patterns and now my partner is sewing everything. We'll be launching our first collection this summer and everything was inspired from my two lovely doxies.

Some people thinks I'm crazy and never had faith that this venture will work out. Well I just said to myself that this will all just be for the fun of it. If we get lucky then I will be so grateful and will surely donate some of the profit to organizations who helps animals. If things don't work out, well I can still donate it to PAWS or CARA then I can say to myself that I gave it a try. Plus my babies will have loads of outfit to wear. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and faith alive for this passion project of mine. Because this is my fur baby dream. ^_^

Bubbles & Cooper 2013 Christmas

Christmas is extra special this year because I haven't got to celebrate it with them last 2012. So I gave them the best gift I can get for them and that's a fund day out in the park. Dogs are selflessly inlove with their family and just want a great quality time with them.

Cooper is not used to going out due to my busy schedule when I got him 4 years ago. I was a fresh graduate from college and never had the quality time to take them out. That's why now the he's turning 4 years old, it's really hard for me to bring him out of the house. Copper is super strong and runs off easily. Lost him twice already so I'm not taking any risk this time. Bought him a strong vest for big dogs so he can't pull it off and for safety I have to dog chains so if ever the other one breaks down. One in his vest and the other in his neck collar.

Bubbles was the easy part since she grew up going out on trips since in her puppy days. She loves to go out and gets excited when she hears the bell in her bag rings. Hare are the photos from our day out in the sun and some other Christmas photos that we took. I just love to share my life with this two fur babies and I love them with all my heart.

Have a fun New Years celebration to everyone! From me and my 4 legged kids ^_^

Love Letter (Valentines Day Edition)

Valentines day is where I usually get romantic and cheesy. But now I guess at in my point of my life where I'm actually contented without a partner. My life is filled with so much love with my two babies beside me. So now let me share my love for Cooper and Bubbles who owns the biggest part of my heart.

To my two lovely babies,

People may think I'm crazy for loving the both of you this much, but I do so what the hell! ^_^ You guys thought me how to love unconditionally and I always think that God gave me the both of you to serve as my anchor. There have been a lot of times where I want to quit life but looking at those two lovely faces won't that always pull me back. I know you guys still needs me and viseversa. I am a drama queen and clingy before Bubbles came into my life. During my College years I was just too busy proving the world that I'm great. But I enter young adulthood and learned that family matters. Apparently when I came home one day I realize that it's me and Bubbles left in a big empty house. I can't allow that so need to work hard and bring Cooper in to our life. Now we are a family and everyday has been filled with so much love.

There will be more Valentines Day ahead of us and I aim to include the both of you in all of it. My love, my heart and my family. Bubbles, Cooper and Yeh will be together forever.

Love,
Mommy Yeh ^_^

Longest Time Away

It's been two weeks and 2 days now since I left for Australia. the longest time I had to be away from my two  furbabies. I did made this life changing decision for me and now paying price for it. I came here in Australia for two reason: help out with the baby and try to see if there's a career for me here. Apparently both have been a difficult path for me since I was left with limited options. Now I know that finding a job for me here is not so difficult but the problem is that I'm not a citizen, resident or even a student here. Then the next problem is that I don't really have time to look for a job because my daily routine has been; baby, sleep, eat, few hours internet and sleep. I have to admit the situation is driving me crazy and my fur babies are not here for my comfort. I usually come home stress and see Bubbles and Cooper then I'll be okay. Now all I have is a big teddy to tuck in and cry with every night.

Now I'm counting down the days where I can get back home. 10 weeks and 5 days to go and everything will be okay again. Will start all over with my career but atleast I have my babies with me. Also I can go with my own rules and go on with my own life. Looking forward to see my furbabies and make up for the Christmas season we missed...
